Opening a ticket

The ticket channel has a button panel. Press one and Marshal opens a private thread: you, staff, and the bot. Nobody else gets in, and Marshal holds the door.

• Most buttons ask for a short label and the details first. The label lands in the thread name, so keep it tight.
• One open ticket per type at a time. Settle the old one before opening a fresh one.
• Some types are gated by roles. If you don't qualify, Marshal tells you exactly which role is missing or which one disqualifies you.
• Quiet for 3 days and the ticket closes itself.

Inside the thread

The buttons under the intro are mostly staff buttons, but two are yours:

• Close: done talking? Close your own ticket any time.
• Edit text: fix your label or details. For suggestions this works until it goes to the vote, then the ballot is printed.

Buttons that settle a ticket run on a 30-second countdown: press one and Marshal shows you a private timer. Press the same button again inside the window and the whole thing is called off. An instant double-tap does not count as a cancel; fat fingers forgiven.

When a ticket gets a verdict, Marshal tags you with the result, the staff clear out, and the thread locks. You keep your seat for 24 hours to read the outcome (the notice shows the countdown), then the room archives itself. A plain close or an expired ticket skips the wait and seals immediately. Either way it's done. Open a new one if something else comes up.

Suggestions

Suggestion tickets are anonymous. Staff reads them, and the good ones go to the vote channel worded exactly as you sent them, so write accordingly. Low-effort or troll suggestions get closed without notice.

Opening one pings nobody. Marshal slips the support crew into the thread quietly, so your idea gets read without setting off anyone's phone.

• The vote post never names you. That part is Marshal's job, and it is good at it.
• Vote by tapping the seeded 👍/👎. The vote channel allows nothing else: no posts, no threads, no new reactions.
• If staff accepts or rejects a suggestion before the vote, it still gets posted there as a record, marked as a staff yes or no. The books stay honest.
